The "Funny Factory Clown Band" was formed in 1986 and is now in it's twentieth year. It was formed with the idea that colorful clowns and great brass band music would be a wonderful attraction for audiences everywhere. This fun formula has been proven time and time again. Audiences have gleefully applauded each and every performance. Everyone loves a clown and upbeat music.  The music is bright and clear and the colorful clowns on the drum line add to the fantasy and the fun. Just the sight of the dancing clown drum major leading the band is a joy to behold. What is the secret of success for the great band? Well, it is not a real secret that it is a real live band that plays real toe tapping music. To be sure the best instrument that it plays is the audiences heart strings.  Initially the band played at "Clownfest" in New Jersey where it still appears every year. The "Funny Factory Clown Band" has been booked repeatedly over the years again and again by their clients.  The repeat bookings are a sign of a job well done. Many annual parades have used this band to the point of making them a tradition in their parade. Over the years the Monmouth County Fair has used the "Funny Factory Clown Band" to both open and to close the fair for more years than we can count.  Even Rupert Murdock's "Team News Corp." used the band  to celebrate the launching of the new racing sloop from Pier 60 in New York in 2001.  The band has also been a mainstay for many of Macy's special events throughout the tri-state area. They have appeared in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York over the years for Macy's. The invited the "Funny Factory Clown Band" into the "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" three times in 1993, 1998 and once again in 2001. The third invitation was extra special as it was the 75th Anniversary of Macy's big parade. Over forty million people watched on television.  The band was invited to appear before the King of Morocco in 1994. This was a unique event honoring the King's granddaughter's birthday. Funny Factory Productions brought the band and a troupe of twenty-two people to perform magic, juggling and more in a grand show in Morocco.  The band was also been chosen to open the 100th Anniversary of the "American International Toy Fair" at the Javits Center in New York City from 2003 to 2006.  They marched through Times Square when the new "Toys "R" Us" had it's grand opening in November of 2001. This fun band was chosen to lead the "Holiday Toy Parade" for the third time in 2003.  November 2006 marked the bands twentieth performance for Toys "R" Us. All in all the band has appeared in Times Square a total of twenty-three times.
