Doug
Young
Biography Doug first became interested in performing magic as a boy. However, his first love, musical theatre, occupied much of his free time. Soon after college, Doug began combining his experience in theatre with his knowledge of the magical arts and the results were amazing. In recent years, Doug has been performing around the world from New York City to the Philippines. He was featured in the music video "Kind and Generous" with pop diva Natalie Merchant, has been a favorite at the Showboat Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, and is regularly on tour with the National Circus Project.
Magic has a mysterious way of bringing out the child in all of us. Never before has this been truer than when presented by illusionist and entertainer, Doug Young. Whether he is simply ripping a newspaper into pieces (only to become whole again), or teaching the audience how to turn a handkerchief into a real solid egg... you are instantly caught in the spell that this able magician casts. Doug will leave the entire audience with a smiling face and with a little bit of mystery on their mind.
